I am soooo stress....some advice please!!

This is my third week at my new campus. Things are good but... I am used to writng my own lesson plans and teaching my way. At my new campus there are 4 of us and we each write one subject of lesson plans. So he is my problem... This method is killing me!!!! I tried it out but then I get social studies lesson plans where the kids do the same thing everyday. I write math and apparently my centers can't be something that takes paper. I JUST WANT TO WRITE MY OWN LESSONS!!! What do I do? As long as we are all following the same standards I don't see why it has to be the same exact lesson. Help, I need help...What do I do. :-(

Horrible Day :-(

After all the work I put into setting up my classroom, I have been moved to another school. They are giving me one day to pack up my old classroom and one day to set up my new classroom. I am a bit angry but mostly overwhelmed.

I'm soooo lost

Sorry I really haven't been posting. My district adopted a program called Cscope and Im pulling my hair out trying to plan based on it....not to mention trying to get my classroom ready with only one working foot. Luckly I should be losing the cruches on Monday but that only solves one problem. As soon as my room is ready you guys will get some pics and once I figure out this CScope stuff you'll get more posts.

Handwriting With Fundations

A few years ago my campus adopted a resource called Fundations. It is great for to use with your guided reading target group. They also have a handwriting resource that I use with the whole class.
The hand writing paper looks like this

When you teach the letters you have sky line letters (h), plane line letters (a), and worm line letters (j).

So Say I am teaching the lowercase letter h. I would say to students...Start on the sky line. Write a straight line down to the grass line then back up to the plane line curve and down to the grass line. ( While I am saying it I am also modeling it)

If you are interested in how to teach the other letters or in the paper leave me a comment with your email and I will email it to you. Still haven't figured out embedding documents. Sorry :-(

My Head May EXPLODE!!

Last year we adopted a new Language Arts textbook. This year we adopted a program called CScope. It basically tells you the order you need to teach things in every subject. It also gives you lesson plans to use to teach those things. It is all very confusing. On our campus we were told that we didn't need to use the lesson plans provided but that we have to follow that scope and sequence. The problem is that the LA textbook and the scope and sequence on CScope are not aligned what so ever. So I'm trying to decide should i pick through the textbook and create my lessons that way or should I try the lesson plans provide through CScope and leave out the textbook. All of this is making my head hurt :-( What should I do?

Dumb Foot

My number one "To Do" this summer was to have surgery on my foot so I'll be ready for next year.  I am on week 4 of  foot cast hell. I have either 2 more weeks or 4 more weeks depends on my next x ray. I am hoping for 2 weeks ( cross your fingers) On top of feeling totally helpless only being able to use one foot, today I am lagging.  I'm working on a post about podcasting but I don't think I will get it posted tonight. Be patient with me and I will get it up sometime tomorrow
